John’s entrepreneurial spirit extends far beyond the dance floor and the waterfront. One of his proudest accomplishments is helping his daughter achieve her lifelong dream of owning and operating a veterinary hospital. After her graduation from veterinary medicine school, John devoted his time, expertise, and resources to designing, building, and launching her state-of-the-art facility. He guided every aspect of its creation—from architecture to operations—and today, the hospital stands as a thriving, respected practice. It serves as a testament not only to his daughter’s dedication but also to John’s unwavering commitment to family, mentorship, and turning vision into reality.
John is also the owner of the Amethyst Garden Inn, a historic luxury inn located in Savannah, Georgia. Captivated by the elegance and history of its Victorian architecture. He purchased the property and undertook a complete restoration. With meticulous attention to detail, John revitalized the inn—blending modern comfort with antique furnishings, fine art, and original period features—to create an intimate and timeless retreat that honors Savannah’s rich heritage.
