Accomplished Ballroom and Latin dancer. His training began with the Arthur Murray organization where he completed numerous pro-am competitions and exhibitions. John is a charismatic and visionary entrepreneur leader. His knowledge and passion for dancing, many years of travel experience and vast network of dance professionals and affiliates along with his professionalism and business expertise enables him to produce and manage successful upscale dance cruises. John has an extensive network in dance communities expands from South Florida to Washington, DC metro, New York City, Chicago and Los-Angeles California as well as Toronto and Montreal Canada. John is a member of USA dance and former board member of the Royal palm chapter.

Ana – Dance Consultant for television & films/Instructor & consultant Arthur Murray Franchised Dance
Studios/Yoga Instructor.Dance professional with extensive stage and teaching experience. Former United States and Arthur Murray Champion. Achieved great success in the United States competitive circuit. Proficiency in Latin, American Rhythm and American Smooth. Ana’s additional expertise: Syllabus development, Yoga for dancers and athletes, Training and development of dancers and competitors, Development of communication and teaching skills.


 

 

10407093_10203505671377608_4704624597969397269_nCraig – was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and was known to dance on coffee tables at the age of two.  Music has always been a big part of his life.  Playing the saxophone and piano, led him to sing in three operas by age 13.  During his college years, he could be found disco dancing at Studio 54.  Disco wasn’t enough, once he experienced the cha cha.  This started his competitive career expanding to include Latin and Ballroom.  Craig quickly became a two time gold medalist in the prestigious United States Dancesport Championships.  His work has been featured in movies, commercials, television, and magazines.   Craig has been one of the top teachers on the east coast for more than 25 years.

While attending Dillard High School for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, FL she also began teaching at various dance schools. From there Diana went on to study at New World School for the Arts in Miami. In 1998 she discovered her love for ballroom dance and for the next seven years, Diana competed in every major dance competition in the Latin division and won numerous awards, including Harvest Moon Champion, Indiana’s Professional Rising Star Champion, and most recently was a finalist in the Arthur Murray International Professional Division.  In 2003, Diana and her partner finished 3rd out of 50,000 competitors on ABC Family’s Dance Fever reality show. In 2005, Diana helped institute a ballroom dance program for the Chicago Public School System inspired by the documentary Mad Hot Ballroom; today she continues on her dance journey through teaching, competing, learning, and inspiring others.


 

Danny_HeadshotDanny – A.N.A.D.T.A (Associate North American Dance Teacher’s Association) is a member of the National Dance Council of America and is owner and founder of “Dance Moves” in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Danny began his career as a ballroom dancer in Atlanta with the Fred Astaire Studio in 1982. After teaching and competing in ballroom dance, he moved to New York to become a professional performer. Shortly after arriving in New York, he joined the international touring company of the American Ballroom Theater. During his six years with American Ballroom Theater, Danny appeared on stage from Hong Kong to the Kennedy Center, performing to wide critical acclaim.. While he enjoys the recognition as a professional dancer, Danny’s greatest pleasure comes from teaching others the art and skill of dance.

 


 

AsleyAshley – Brings to the dance floor ten years of Ballroom Dance experience. A Florida native, she began her Ballroom dance career in a Fred Astaire Dance studio in Naples, FL. She has since been teaching, training, and contributing to dance studios and students in New York City, Fort Myers, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She completed in the International Standard division early on in her career and has since trained with many world renowned coaches and mentors in many styles of dance. Ashley is proficient in youth training, group classes, individual, and couple lessons. Among her favorite dances are Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, and of course Salsa.


 

 

Allen Desterhaft

Allen – Holds a BFA in dance from The Ohio State University, and has danced professionally with Chi-Town Jazz Dance Chicago, and Winifred Haun and Dancers. He has performed as a guest artist with Dance for Life, Dance Theater North, Schaumburg Dance Ensemble, Evanston Dance Ensemble, Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble, and The Chicago Festival Ballet.  Allen was also a guest choreographer and performer for the Joffrey Ballet in the production of “Salute to Vienna”.  He is a Fellow of the Cecchetti Council of America, holding The Enrico Cecchetti Diploma Certification.  In addition, Allen has extensive formal training in competitive and social Dancesport and most recently competed professionally in the American Smooth and Show dance categories.  His award winning choreography is seen in both amateur and professional Dancesport competitions throughout the United States.  He is currently a faculty member of the Légère Dance Center as well as the Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, where he teaches ballet to BA and BFA

 


 

adriana_AAdriana – along with her professional partner Orlando have been professional dancers and teachers in the art of Argentine Tango for over a decade. With a background in classical ballet, they went on to specialize and study Tango in Buenos Aires under the auspices of such world renowned Tango masters. In 2005 they became semi-finalists at the third Tango World Championship, held in Argentina. In their native Colombia they are acclaimed in newspapers, magazines, festivals and events, as one the country’s most representative couples.Their vast repertoire includes beautiful improvisational Salon Tango, as well as thrilling choreographed performances such as the ones they performed in “Tango Intimo”, which dazzled Off Broadway audiences. Their dancing, like their teaching style, is energetic, precise, and passionate. Their enthusiasm for Tango is palpable.
